It connects systems, feeds business processes with the information they need and reliably transmits onward the instructions that achieve their goals.
About AMQP integration connector
This is another Publish / Subscribe connector, just like Google Pub/Sub. It is used for asynchronous communication with queues and topics. It is also very helpful when it comes to working with RabbitMQ.
As its name suggests, it supports both triggers and actions, which means you can use it either to execute or to act upon a certain event. In the case of the AMQP integration connector, you can consume messages from a queue on an AMQP server or publish messages to an AMQP topic exchange.
All messages that are sent and received by this component are automatically encrypted/decrypted with the same algorithm as all native elastic.io messages. Optionally, you may disable encryption.
Follow the Documentation link above to find what you need to do to set it up.
Like with all other elastic.io connectors that are under the Apache license, you can clone it and enhance it yourself to include more functionalities out of the box. Alternatively, you can contact our pre-sales team at ps[at]elastic.io if you prefer our developers to extend this connector for you.
PLEASE NOTE: You need to be registered on the elastic.io integration platform in order to use this AMQP integration connector. You can sign up for a free 14-day trial here.
