Google Translate used to be ridiculed because of its moderate translation quality in the past, but not anymore. It turned into a powerful translation tool that is getting better and better. Not only does it offer a translation in the browser but also provides in-app translations on mobile devices (I use it all the time when reading my French newsletter ^OA). You can use it to translate single words, sentences or even entire passages.
About Google Translate integration connector
This is elastic.io’s own private connector to work with all other connectors in your integration workflows and it was developed specifically for the elastic.io platform. It is delivered with the platform by default.
Google Translate integration connector currently supports only the action functionality, which means that you can use it to execute a certain event that follows another event. With the help of this connector, you can have the complete range of actions performed by the actual Google Translate service – for example, detect a language, translate a phrase, or even go further and retrieve supported languages.
Due to the fact that it is under the proprietary license, you cannot change or extend this connector yourself. If you have any questions, you’re welcome to contact our pre-sales team at ps[at]elastic.io.
PLEASE NOTE: You need to be registered on the elastic.io integration platform in order to use this connector. You can sign up for a free 14-day trial here.
