BigQuery is a serverless and fully-managed data warehouse provided by no less than Google themselves. It is cloud-based and super-fast, allowing you to run SQL queries on terabytes of data in a matter of seconds, and even petabytes of data – in only several minutes.
And if that wasn’t enough, it also has built-in machine learning capabilities.
About BigQuery integration connector
This is elastic.io’s own private (i.e. not open-sourced) connector to work with all other connectors in your integration workflows. It was developed specifically for the elastic.io platform, and it comes with the platform by default.
The BigQuery integration connector currently supports only the action functionality, which means that you can use it to execute a certain event that follows another event. In this case, you can –logically – interact with the Google BigQuery data warehouse using a client library. You will find more information about this connector and the specifics of its setup and configuration on the connector’s documentation page, following the link above.
Due to the fact that it is the under the proprietary license, you cannot change or extend the BigQuery integration connector yourself. If you need some specific additional triggers and / or actions, please contact our pre-sales team at ps[at]elastic.io first to discuss the details.
PLEASE NOTE: You need to have an account on the elastic.io integration platform in order to use the BigQuery integration connector. You can sign up for a free 14-day trial here.
