Fast and flexible mass delivery of messages via AWS SNS integration connector

AWS SNS stands for Simple Notification Service and is a fast, flexible and fully managed push messaging service that provides a low-cost infrastructure for the mass delivery of messages, primarily to mobile users.

You can use it, for example, to decouple certain background tasks that are heavy-weight and when performed on request, would otherwise lead to a longer response time. Or you could use it for system alerts to notify you when, for example, infrastructure thresholds are exceeded.

About AWS SNS integration connector

This is an open source connector to use it with all other connectors in your integration workflows and it was developed specifically for the elastic.io platform. It is delivered with the platform by default.

The AWS SNS integration connector currently supports only the action functionality, which means that you can use it to execute a certain event that follows another event. In this case, you can publish a message to a SNS Topic after a certain condition is met.
