AWS Lambda is an event-driven, serverless computing platform provided by Amazon as a part of the Amazon Web Services.
It lets you run your code in response to events and automatically manages the underlying compute resources for you.
About AWS Lambda integration connector
This is an open source connector to invoke an AWS Lambda function in your integration flows and it was developed specifically to run on elastic.io platform
This is the first release of the AWS Lambda integration connector and it is still under development. Therefore, it currently supports only the action functionality, which means that you can only use it to execute a certain event. In the case of this particular connector, it supports returning JSON value as result.

Like with all other elastic.io connectors that are under the Apache license, you can clone it and enhance it yourself to include more functionalities out of the box. Alternatively, you can contact our pre-sales team at ps[at]elastic.io if you prefer our developers to extend this connector for you.
