The REST API integration connector has been developed by the elastic.io developers team for REST requests with the ability to generate Token Code in configuration fields. This code will execute and generate an object containing two functions addAuthenticationToRequestOptions and getAccessToken which will then be executed with the provided code operations.
If you have a REST-ful API but don’t have a system-specific connector, you can just take one of our the REST integration connectors, configure it appropriately and use it in the similar way as if it were an actual connector for the application of your choice.
This component has no trigger functions. This means it will not be accessible to select as a first component during the integration flow design.
